What is Veterans Court?

Veterans Court is a unique program to keep Veterans out of jail and on the road to a healthy, law-abiding lifestyle. Each participant in Veterans Court is assessed for a wide variety of supportive services, primarily drug and alcohol and/or mental health treatment. Also, there is access to individual and family counseling, educational degrees, job skill training, housing and transportation assistance. Veterans Court surrounds a participant with all of the services and support needed to be on the right path in life.

The Veterans Court team consists of a judge, lawyers, probation officers and counselors. Each team member, including the judge, has specialized training and experience in the Treatment Court program. The team works together to help you as much as possible.
